Ableton Demo Sessions 4/4
Goldsnap are proud to present: Ableton Live Demo Sessions!
Are you interested in music? Have you ever wanted to get your hands on some music production software but don’t know where to start? Do you feel like you might have a knack for tech? Want to meet and socialise with people of colour also interested in learning music production?
This event is for you!
Goldsnap are hosting a series of FREE music production demo sessions which aim to give a very brief summary of how to use Ableton as music production software. These demo sessions are for absolute beginners, intermediates or anyone who’s just curious to check out what’s happ’nin’.
During the hour and a half sessions resident teacher, producer and DJ Mwen (https://www.facebook.com/MwenLive) will take everyone through her process of building a track; making beats, clips, scenes, looping and basic hardware use (such as Ableton’s Push or a midi keyboard).
These sessions will serve as a taster for a full length one month course (coming soon). People who have attended taster sessions will be given priority on the places for the full length courses. The month long courses will take you into detail on what was introduced in the Ableton Demo Sessions. You do not have to attend the demo sessions to apply for the longer courses but it would give you a leg up to understanding what the course will be about.
