Goldsnap DJ Workshop 2/4: Serato DJ: R&B n HipHop
Goldsnap are proud to present FREE DJ Workshops for October…
Are you interested in DJing? Have you ever wanted to learn the tools of the trade but don’t know where to start?
This event is for you!
Goldsnap are hosting a series of FREE DJ workshops for ★ people of colour + QTIPOC ★ which aim to give the basics on how-to-DJ. These sessions are for absolute beginners, intermediates or anyone who’s just curious to check out what’s happ’nin’.
During the hour and a half sessions teachers DJ Dibs or Gin will take everyone through the process of DJing; where to start, what equipment to get, how to use and set up the equipment and how to get started mixing tracks.
There will be four how-to-DJ sessions in succession but the same material will NOT be covered each time. So sign up to the one that suits you best! Each session will begin with a short introduction to why start DJing, the importance of seeing more women and people of colour on the decks and headlining events. And our personal experience with DJing in London and on the music scene.
